RELEASE OF LIABILITY, WAIVER OF CLAIMS, AND ASSUMPTION OF RISK AGREEMENT
By signing this waiver, I acknowledge and agree to the following:
1. ASSUMPTION OF RISK: I understand that participating in the SF Perimeter Relay involves inherent risks including, but not limited to: running on public roads and trails, uneven terrain, traffic, adverse weather conditions, physical exertion, dehydration, and potential injury. I voluntarily assume all such risks.
2. RELEASE OF LIABILITY: I hereby release, discharge, and hold harmless SF Perimeter Relay, its organizers, sponsors, volunteers, and affiliated parties from any and all claims, demands, actions, or causes of action arising out of or related to any loss, damage, or injury that may be sustained by me during or as a result of my participation in this event.
3. MEDICAL ACKNOWLEDGMENT: I certify that I am physically fit and have sufficiently trained for this event. I have not been advised against participation by a qualified medical professional. I consent to receiving medical treatment that may be deemed advisable in the event of injury, accident, or illness during the event.
4. RULES AND REGULATIONS: I agree to abide by all rules and regulations of the SF Perimeter Relay. I understand that failure to comply may result in disqualification.
5. PERSONAL PROPERTY: I am responsible for my own personal property. The event organizers are not liable for any loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings.
6. PHOTOGRAPHY AND MEDIA: I grant permission for the use of my name, likeness, and images captured during the event for promotional and media purposes without compensation.
7. WEATHER AND COURSE CHANGES: I understand that the event may be modified, delayed, or cancelled due to weather or other safety concerns. No refunds will be issued in such cases.
This waiver is effective for the SF Perimeter Relay event in March 2026 and any related training events.
